Animals in New Zealand & Japan

★New Zealand
New Zealand has 48,000,000 sheep When the best time, there were 70,300,000 sheep (as of 1982). This figure is ten times as much as human being. That represents 12 sheep for every person in New Zealand. The farm products account for 30% of export goods.




In New Zealand, a lot of farmeres have doogs help to chase sheep. It's useful to cost down than to do theirselves or to use people. They use Collie for heading dogs. They work ten times as much as human.

In Japan, there a little heading dogs. Mainly, they take lively parts in Hokkaido. Although using heading dogs is studied in Kyushu, there are not many heading dogs in Japan. I hope farmeres use them soon.
